Digital media over recent years has become ubiquitous and as a combination of traditional film making and the new digital technology, the skills required to take advantage of digital production methods are diverse and require among others knowledge of lighting, lenses, sensors, video compression and digital storage techniques. The technology skills become even more essential in post-production with the use of digital intermediates, colour grading, visual effects, high definition and high speed storage.
